Terms of Service

Version 1.0 — effective from launch

Realistic Data Generator (hereinafter “the Plugin”) is a Figma plugin published as an independent product (hereinafter “the Publisher”). The Plugin generates fictional, locale-aware data (names, addresses, phone numbers, and administrative identifiers) directly within the Figma environment for use in UI design mockups.

The Plugin is not a SaaS service. All data generation occurs client-side within the Figma plugin sandbox. No user content, design data, or generated data is transmitted to any external server.

The Free plan provides access to all locales (FR, EN, DE, ES, JP), all data categories, and all features of the Plugin, subject to the following limitation: batch fill operations are restricted to a maximum of 10 text nodes per operation.

The Free plan does not require payment or registration beyond a standard Figma account.

The Pro plan removes all batch fill limitations and provides priority support. The Pro plan is offered at €9 per month, billed monthly via the in-plugin payment interface.

Subscription is monthly and may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed by a third-party Merchant of Record who handles VAT, invoicing, and tax compliance. The Publisher does not store payment card data.

Article 3 — Disclaimer on Fictional Administrative Identifiers

Section titled “Article 3 — Disclaimer on Fictional Administrative Identifiers”

The Plugin generates fictional administrative identifiers including but not limited to:

  • SIRET (France) — 14-digit company identifier
  • SSN (United States) — Social Security Number
  • DNI (Spain) — National Identity Document number
  • Steuernummer (Germany) — Tax identification number
  • MyNumber (Japan) — Individual number

These identifiers are entirely fictional. They follow the structural format of their real counterparts but are algorithmically generated at random and do not correspond to any real individual, company, or registration.

The Plugin software, its code, and its data corpora are protected by intellectual property law. The User is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Plugin within Figma.

The User may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Plugin’s data corpora.

5.1 The Plugin is provided as a design productivity tool. The Publisher makes no warranty that the generated data is appropriate for any specific design purpose.

5.2 The Publisher is not liable for any damages arising from:

  • Use of generated identifiers outside design mockups
  • Reliance on generated data as factually accurate
  • Any design decision made on the basis of the generated content

5.3 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Publisher’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the User in the 3 months preceding the claim.

6.1 Data generated by the Plugin (names, addresses, phone numbers, identifiers) is never transmitted to the Publisher’s servers. All generation happens locally within Figma.

6.2 Data collected by the Publisher:

  • For Free plan users: none.
  • For Pro plan users: billing email address and anonymous licence token. Legal basis: Article 6.1(b) GDPR (contract performance).

6.3 Data processors: Payment processor (EU/UK, under DPA). No other third parties process User data.

6.4 Data retention: Billing data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus the legally required accounting period (10 years under French law).

6.5 Rights: Pro subscribers may request access, rectification, or deletion of their billing data by emailing [email protected].

The Publisher reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Pro subscribers will be notified by email 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Pro plan after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable resolution. Failing that, the competent French courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
